Haroun’s Café was welcoming all people in the community, it hosted educated people, farmers, elderly people, and mayors, everyone was attending it and meet there; as they used to get what they want from food, drink, or hookah; the famous Haroun’s narghile. They were sitting playing cards and the backgammon table for the dawn, even important politicians used to come to Haroun cafe and the VIPs or the senior state officials who were used to wait for their turn at Haroun Café like all other customers.

Our duty was to serve them and provide them the best hookah they enjoy and then offer them Kanafa at the end of their visit. This is what made them love it and became friends of the famous Haroun café, the best provider of hookah! It is good to know the mood of politicians and be able change it by presenting the best hookah they like.

People used to love and enjoy listening to the old folk proverbs and storytelling at the café that gathers them there. We are trying to convey a good image of its great service and Mr. Haroun’s professional skill in providing the best hookah, furthermore to convey all the genuineness he provided to the previous generation to connect it to the new generation with love and sincerity.

The story started from Palestine, the land of olive oil, olives, orchards, and vineyards, with a man called Haroun who was fond of the night-time meetings and the arts. He likes to hear songs of Abdel Wahab and Umm Kalthoum. He liked preparing tobacco and sweetened flavor hookah with his hands and make the best taste of it next to his delicious coffee that creates lovely times in his café. The café was opened in the name of Haroun, it was a restaurant and café, a nice place where people used to meet and enjoy. Haroun was professional with food, drink, making Kanafa, and preparing the best hookah ever. In the beginning, he used to make it from tobacco and  then he started preparing the sweetened fruit flavor. People used to say that he was the first to make apples sweetened flavor because the region was famous for apples, since then people heard about Haroun and they started to come to his café from far places and everywhere. He was famous with his nice and friendly personality and loved by people who prefer to spend long times in Haroun Café and enjoy.
